MST-10 is a water-dilutable acrylic polymer liquid soil stabilizer. Sprayed onto on-site soil and mixed in place, it transforms ordinary soil into a durable, load-bearing layer. It eliminates crushed-stone hauling entirely; unlike cement stabilization, there is no 28-day curing period - light traffic can usually run in 1–3 days, and heavy haul trucks by day 7.
It is suitable for a wide range of soils, including common red soil, laterite, and gravelly soils. Typical applications include haul roads, municipal roads, industrial yards, rural access roads, quarry temporary roads, and sub-base/subgrade improvement for highways and airport runways, subject to local design verification.

How it works
When diluted MST-10 is sprayed onto soil, it forms an ultra-thin film on the surface of each soil particle. This film locks in moisture and air, preventing water evaporation and loss of fine particles. It triggers bonding within the soil matrix and rapidly develops compressive strength. Because the reaction occurs entirely on-site, the technology uses local materials and in-situ stabilization: no expensive borrow pits, no long-distance hauling of crushed stone or fly ash, and no stockpiling and removal of foreign aggregates.

Where it replaces crushed stone
For municipal roads, a 15 cm stabilized in-situ layer can replace a 20 cm crushed-stone base, reducing structural thickness and carbon footprint. For industrial sites, rural roads, and temporary haul roads in quarries, the same application rate turns existing surfaces into dust-free, mud-free driving lanes that support fully loaded dump trucks without additional crushed stone.
For highways and airport runways, MST-10 is used for sub-base stabilization or subgrade improvement - not as a runway surface course. Any airport application must be verified against local aviation authority, FAA, or ICAO requirements.

Construction procedure
1.Scarify and pulverize in-situ soil to 20–30 cm (30 cm for heavy-duty roads).
2.Adjust moisture to 10–15% (max 18%).
3.Dilute MST-10 with water at 1:3–1:10; spray evenly.
4.Mix immediately and thoroughly; two mixing passes recommended.
5.Shape to design grade; build road crown and drainage.
6.Compact within 15 minutes: bulldozer → ramshorn roller → vibratory roller to 95% MDD (AASHTO T180).
7.Optional seal: spray diluted MST-10 (1:40–50 water); 1 L covers about 100 m².
No rain during or within 8 hours after construction; open to traffic 8 hours after completion.
A trial section is recommended before full-scale work.

Case study
Palm-oil plantation haul road, Malaysia (2025)
Length: 3 km
Construction: 15 cm stabilized in-situ laterite
Traffic: 60–80 t trucks,7-8 trips/day
FAQ
1.How soon can the road be opened to traffic after construction?
Light traffic can usually run in 1–3 days. Heavy trucks are recommended from day 7. A trial section is the best way to confirm exact timing for your soil and climate.
2.Are there weather or temperature requirements?
Construction is recommended above 5°C and without heavy rain. In the rainy season, monitor forecasts and protect the newly treated layer from rain for the first 8 hours. If the soil is too wet, aerate it or adjust moisture before spraying.
3.Can it be used for old road rehabilitation?
Yes. For old road rehabilitation, break up or scarify the existing surface, mix it with the underlying soil, spray the diluted stabilizer, then grade and compact. Full removal of old material is usually not required, saving transport and disposal costs.
